The Missoni Art Colour exhibition is a visual story of inspiration, colour and (of course) clothes! Missoni are famous for their use of bold stripes and zigzags… and they made knitwear cool. This exhibit is a chance to study what inspired their iconic style and see it realised in a selection of garments spanning the last 60 years.
The exhibit’s main room is a collection of over 40 Missoni outfits, dramatically arranged with an evolving light design. In the surrounding rooms there are walls and cases of artwork that directly inspired Missoni’s work, along with sketches and knitwear samples from their development process.
The exhibit closes after this weekend, so be quick if you want to experience it! You can get tickets online at the Fashion and Textile Museum’s website.
